The adjustable stainless clip fits all standard steaming pitchers. This clip is unique in that it places the probe at an angle so that it reads from the centre of the frothing pitcher which may give you a more accurate reading. The thermometer can be easily user re-calibrated by adjusting the nut underneath the dial.
If you have a traditional steam wand on your espresso machine (not a panerello type), the thermometer can be used to indicate when to submerge the tip after the stretching (aeration) phase.
